Our economy books are printed with a 300gsm cover and 80gsm inner pages. Books are available in various sizes (A5 and A4 or most popular), printed full colour or black & white then perfect bound.
Premium books are available on a range of material with specialist finishes including Soft Touch Lamination, Gold Foil and Spot Varnish.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a page, sheet & side?
You may be confused by the differences between ‘pages’, ‘sides’, ‘sheets’ and ‘leaves’. To help clear things up we only refer to ‘pages’ within our website and ordering process.
Definition: When you open a book, you will be looking at 2 pages. Each page generally has a page number and a single sheet of paper will contain 2 pages..
When is or isn’t VAT charged?
VAT is not applicable on printing services for ‘standard’ books. This includes novels, autobiographies, poems, etc. VAT is charged on books which contain areas for writing in. This includes; diaries, workbooks and journals
VAT will not be charged for additional services including cover design and artwork only if we printing of the book is within the same order. VAT is charged for standalone design and artwork services if no printing is required.
My book has less than 50 pages. Can it be perfect bound?
Yes. We can perfect bind books with less than 50 pages (25 sheets). We can go down as low as 32 pages (16 sheets) as standard. Perfect bound books with fewer than 32 pages will require a specialist manufacturing process which will be charged extra from £100.
